Erika Harris joined Watson Spence after graduating magna cum laude from Georgia State University Law School with a Juris Doctorate. Before law school, she earned her Bachelor of Criminal Justice Administration, cum laude, from Kennesaw State University.
During her time at Georgia State University, Erika participated in the Bleckley Inn of Court (litigation inn of court). She served as a Landlord/Tenant Mediator in Fulton County Magistrate Court from September 2019 - August 2021. She has been a Registered Mediator since August 2019, was an Urban Fellow 2019-2020, and served as the Secretary of the Black Law Student Association (BLSA).
Erika is a member of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys, Gate City Bar Association, Stonewall Bar Association, and Gwinnett County Bar Association. She is currently on the Representative Council for the State Bar of Georgia’s Young Lawyer Division. When not in the office, Erika enjoys spending time with her six-year-old Chiweenie, Milo. In addition, she is a skilled budget traveler, Habitat for Humanity Home Build Volunteer, and BLSA and CASA Mentor.
