Practice Areas: Commercial, Farm and Residential Real Estate

Dunn Stapleton specializes in real estate law, and his services include: handling sales and acquisitions of commercial, farm, and residential properties and related loan closings; conducting complex title examinations; issuing title opinions, title insurance commitments and policies; preparing leases and sales contracts; handling tax-deferred exchanges of like-kind properties; and advising purchasers, sellers, developers, landlords, and tenants with respect to various real estate-related issues.

Dunn is a Fellow in the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and has also presented lectures at a number of seminars on real estate foreclosures and related matters. A native of Donalsonville, Georgia, he received his A.B. and J.D. degrees from Emory University, was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1968, and then served in Vietnam as an officer in the United States Navy.

Dunn serves as a member of the board of directors of Flint Community Bancshares, Inc. He is a past president of the Rotary Club of Dougherty County, and a past Vestry member and past senior warden of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Dunn and his wife, Nealy, have two grown daughters, and are members of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
