Dwayne specializes in product liability and Government Investigations/White Collar Defense. He has tried over fifty cases in courts across the State of Georgia. Previously, Dwayne was a senior Assistant District Attorney handling complex felony cases, most recently in the DeKalb County Major Felony Unit, where he prosecuted complex gang cases and homicides. During his tenure as a prosecutor, Dwayne was awarded Trial Division Attorney of the Year. From his years of successfully preparing and trying cases, Dwayne understands the importance of uncovering and examining every detail to ensure the best outcome for his clients.
Notable cases include State v Joseph Broxton and Daniel Pena et al. (one of the largest gang trials in DeKalb County history). Dwayne has also prosecuted several leaders of nationally recognized gangs for gang related homicides and other crimes.
Noteworthy memberships include the Gate City Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the State Bar. He is also a member of the Defense Research Institute, Georgia Defense Lawyers Association, and Lamar Inn of Court.
He was awarded Trial Attorney of the Year in 2013 Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, in addition to graduating from the Leadership Academy with the State Bar’s Young Lawyer’s Division.
His education includes a B.A. from Georgia State University, and a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he also served as Vice President- Equal Justice Foundation.

He and wife, Elizabeth (Liz), are the proud parents of their lovely daughter Brielle and are members of Passion City Church. In his free time, Dwayne enjoys reading, weight training, and UGA football.
