As a partner at Watson Spence, Chuck Wainright handles a full array of complex litigation matters, including medical malpractice defense, product liability defense, and business/fiduciary litigation. With a solid understanding of the many facets of the medical field, Chuck guides doctors, nurse practitioners and physician's assistants through the litigation process-and has obtained favorable results in this area through motions, mediation and trial. He has trial experience in both state and federal courts, including preparing and arguing pre-trial motions, deposing expert witnesses, and appellate experience in the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
A native of Waycross, Georgia, Chuck graduated with honors from Mercer University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Chuck obtained his J.D., cum laude, from Mercer University in 1999 and moved to Albany, Georgia, to practice with Watson Spence. He became partner in 2004, and was there until 2008. He returns to Watson Spence in 2013 as partner.
