Christopher S. Cohilas, attorney at Watson Spence, has been named one of the 100 Most Influential Georgians by Georgia Trend magazine, a group the magazine says “exhibits the character necessary to inspire, challenge, lead and influence” the state of Georgia. As Dougherty County Commission Chairman, Cohilas’ leadership following the tornadoes in January 2017 brought media attention and federal dollars to help with the local recovery. He is also founding member of Lily Pad, an umbrella organization to assist sexual assault and child abuse victims.
“I am honored to be included among Georgia’s most notable and accomplished leaders,” Cohilas said. “My top priority – in every role I fill – is to improve the community we live in and help people who may not otherwise be able to help themselves. I am proud to represent Albany-Dougherty County and be a voice for our community.”
