Chris Foreman joined Watson Spence in 2014 after five years of practicing law in the area of civil litigation and insurance defense. As his practice progressed, Chris expanded into more complex areas of civil litigation insurance defense including construction defect, premises liability, and wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases throughout South Georgia. Chris has presented premises liability and construction defect cases at both the trial court and appellate court levels. Chris currently works with the litigation team in all areas of civil litigation including complex business litigation, contract disputes, collection/garnishments, construction defect claims and personal injury claims. Chris likewise continues to represent some of the firm’s institutional clients in the defense of premises liability claims.
An active participant in legal organizations, Chris has served as a member of the Albany Young Lawyers Division and the Dougherty Circuit Bar Association. Chris was voted "One of the Best" in the Albany Herald 2019 Reader's Choice Award for attorneys in the Tifton, Sylvester, and Moultrie areas. He has also been named a Super Lawyers Georgia Rising Star from 2020 through 2023. Chris is licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District and Middle District of Georgia as well as the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals.
A native of Albany, Georgia, Chris is a “Double Dawg” who obtained his BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he met his wife, Casey. Chris and Casey are members of First United Methodist Church. Chris is a member of the Artesian City Sertoma Club, and, outside of the office, Chris is an avid golfer.
